Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Rigside Dispatch collects when you use this website or our dispatch service, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible

What we collect, and why
- What you send us to get set up: company name, MC and DOT number, contact details, W-9 information, insurance certificate and the equipment you run. We need it because a broker will not complete a setup without it.
- What accumulates while we dispatch you: loads, lanes, rates, rate confirmations, the brokers involved and our notes from those calls. This is the record of the work and the evidence behind any claim on a load.
- Billing information: what we invoiced, what has been paid, and when.
- Server logs: ordinary request records that any web server keeps — addresses, timestamps and errors — used to keep the site working and secure.
Who else sees it
Brokers see exactly what a setup packet requires — your company details, authority, insurance and payment instructions — because that is the point of the packet. Your factoring company, if you use one, receives the notice of assignment you asked us to file. Our hosting and email providers process data on our instructions under written agreements. Nobody else. We do not sell your data, we do not rent your contact details, and we do not pass your rate history to anybody.
How long we keep it
Load and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and commercial record-keeping rules require. Everything else is deleted when it stops serving the purpose it was collected for — and immediately on request, unless a retention rule stands in the way, in which case we will tell you which one.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Have anything incorrect corrected.
- Ask for deletion, subject to the retention rules above.
- Stop working with us at any time — there is no term, and no data hostage.
Cookies
This site uses the cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences. It does not run advertising trackers.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and existing customers are told by email. We do not quietly rewrite the page.
